In order to apply for a LETTER OF GOOD STANDING a company must be registered with COIDA and have a 12 digit reference number starting with 99. We facilitate this for you.

- Once COID has raised a Notice of Assesment, you are notified and the outstanding is paid to COIDA directly.
- Once the amount has been paid to COIDA directly, your Letter of Good Standing will be issued.

ANNUAL FEES DUE TO THE COMMISIONER
The annual fees payable at the Compensation Fund need to be up to date and successfully submitted. In case that your fees are not up to date, we will send you the information you need to settle your account with the Compensation Fund .We cannot continue with the Letter of Good Standing until the assessment has been paid in full.
Note that if you have an outstanding fee, the COMPENSATION FUND will charge you these fees in addition to the services that we offer.* Do not pay the assessment fees into our account , these are paid to COIDA directly.
Do you need a COIDA Letter of Good Standing ? R999
A COID Letter of Good Standing is a compulsory requirement for all businesses that employ one or more employees in South Africa.
Any company cannot trade legally without COID Registration as well as a Letter of Good Standing. One cannot tender for any trade opportunities without a Letter of Good Standing and being registered for COID.
Furthermore, you will be held personally responsible for costs relating to an injury on duty.
